Frame:

The Frame is fabricated from steel plates of is 226 Grade. The frame is designed to take heavy loads. The interlocked design put the direct support to frame. Thus frame is strain free and eliminates welds at load supports. Thus the Accuracy of The Machine is never disturbed.

Table:

Steel fabricated, box type table is heavily ribbed for strength and is stress relieved its machined seat provides true and firm support to the bottom blade. It is adjustably for setting the blade clearance. The top surface of the table is provided with T slots for adjusting the front gurge.

Upper Beam:

Upper beam is fabricated with thick M.S. Plate. It is Heavily ribbed from behind and is stress relived. The top blade is fitted at its accurately machined seat. Its sliding surface are machined and hand scrapped for smooth travel and sustained accurately.

Guide Ways:

Accurately machined guide ways keep the beam in its bearing throughout the stroke. A taper wedge is provide to compensate for the wear and to facilitate quick setting of the blade clearance.

Hold Down Device:

The spring loaded mechanical hold down pads hold the sheet securely, to avoid slipping and bowing resulting in clean square cuts. Hold down units are provided with oversize pads to avoid impressions on sheet metal on request.

Drive, Clutch And Brake Drive:

• Motor, mounted on an adjustable platform, drives the large, cast iron fly wheel through v-belts. The power is Further transmitted to the fly wheel shaft through steel pinion and main gear box and than transmitted to main gear. Gun-Metal bushes are provided all the rotating parts .

• Rollin key clutch is linked with the main gear and engages every time when the foot switch is pressed.

• Spring tensioned braked fitted at the end of the crank shift to damp inertia.

Front And Rear Gauges:

Front Gauge :

• T-Slotted fron gauge fabricated from mild steel is detachable.

• Rack and Pinion type rear gauge provides accuracy and is easily adjustable to parallel and taper strips efficiently.

Blade:

Digvijay shears are provided with high quality single or segment HCHCR blade, with four edged.

Lubrication:

All bearing parts and guide surfaces are lubricated through connected oil cups and operated lubrication pump.

ELECTICAL CONTROL PANELThe electrical control panel is located on the left hand side of the machine. It is assembled from the internationally reputed parts for consistent performance, reliability and availability, if needed to be replaced. It is wired cleanly and labelled/ferruled properly as per the International practices to help easily locate any fault and replace components convenaiently.

RAKE ANGLE (CUTTING ANGLE) ADJUSTMENTCutting angle of the blade is electro hydraulically adjusted with push buttons with indicator lights on the operator console. The cutting angle adjustment helps to achieve, cutting variety of material and thicknesses without twist and distortion

CLEARANCE SETTING (BLADE GAP) ARRANGEMENTThe shears are equipped with levers calibrated in thickness on both sides of the machine to adjust the clearance between top and bottom blade according the sheet/plate thickness. The setting can be done swiftly and quickly without use of filler gauges involving without use of filler gauges involving cumbersome procedure and difficulty. The use of correct blade gap ensures burr free cutting results and improves blade life considerably.
